Giving Tree FAQs:

1. Do I have to purchase EVERY gift suggestion on the ornament? 

No, certainly not. The list is just a few suggestions to help give you ideas of what the children need. We are trying to collect 2-3 toys, 1 pair of shoes or boots, and 1 outfit or coat for each child - but we do NOT expect you to provide everything. Just do what you are able, and know that your generosity is greatly appreciated! 

2. I didn't see the deadline, is it too late to donate?

No, we can accept donations until the event is nearly over and still give them to the families in attendance. However, if you are bringing us donations AFTER the event has ended, then we will give the gifts to the Ogden Head Start organization or the Ogden School District and they will distribute them to families in the most need who were not able to attend the event. No donations are ever wasted! We use EVERYTHING!

3. I have gift cards or money, I don't want to leave them in the donation bin. Where can I take them?

Thank you! You can deliver them to the OWCAP (3159 Grant Ogden) or ask the Giving Tree Location's receptionist - sometimes they have a special holding location for these types of gifts. 

4. Can I get a donation receipt? 

Yes! Please contact Jordan Barrett at 801-837-9415 with OWCAP for these types of requests. 

5. Can I donate USED items too?

NO, unfortunately, we do not accept used items

6. Our donation bin is full, who do I call for pick-up?

Please call our Giving Tree Coordinator, Emily Ashdown 801-336-7247 to arrange pick-ups. 

7. Our Giving Tree is all out of ornaments, can we get more?

Yes! Please call our Giving Tree Coordinator, Emily Ashdown 801-336-7247 and she will get you more. Thank you!
