What is Community Christmas?
Community Christmas is a half-day benefit event for 1,000 families in the Weber & Davis County areas. Community Christmas is an event put on by volunteers of the Ogden-Weber Community Action Partnership (OWCAP).
EVERY DIME RAISED FOR THE EVENT GOES TO THE EVENT & THE FAMILIES SERVED!
All of the volunteers who put on the event are unpaid by Community Christmas. This is truly a grassroots movement - provided by the community for the community that has been going for 10 years now, and we don't have any plans of stopping!
The event features:
Christmas carnival with activity stations for the children
North Pole with Santa and Mrs. Claus
The Christmas Store where parents can select new and used items for each of their children, in addition to grocery and household items, all at no-cost to them.
A resources and services fair where families can connect with local agencies that provide programs to help them break the poverty cycle.
We have over 1,000 volunteers that participate in Community Christmas!

About Community Christmas
Who We Serve:
We serve approximately 2,500 children who are not receiving Christmas assistance from other Sub-4-Santa programs. In many cases, we are the last chance for Christmas for these children.
We give tickets to the event to various charitable organizations to distribute for us in the area, such as:
Ogden Weber Community Action Partnership (our primary partner)
Ogden's Head Start program
Ogden School District
Several Title 1 elementary schools in Davis County
Local churches and other non-profits
These organizations find the families in the most need.
